Mr. T was craving soup because he said that he felt a cold coming and soup at this place in Sunnyvale would boost his immune system. Something about chicken noodle soup always makes the sickness go away, in this case, it's about Wonton Soup for him. At 5:30 pm at the height of traffic, he made me tag along for carpool purposes. Out of the places round South San Jose, we were driving all the way to Sunnyvale for soup. We drove to a Chinese Restaurant called Happy Cafee in Sunnyvale off Lawrence Expressway camouflaged in a tiny business strip, totally random. Tables and chairs filled the room without a body on them. A man ahead of us ordered food enough for a family. Signs of emptiness made me worry about ordering food there and wondered if it'll be any good. I looked at the menu behind the counter with pictures and pointed out the first thing that looked good. The asian lady behind the counter said it's really good but no more white noodles but brown noodles were all they had. I couldn't really understand what she said, at first I heard her say brain, and thought to myself, What am I getting into. Mr. T ordered wonton soup since that was what he orders when he used to worked close by. I was really surprised my soup turned out delicious, the stock was full of flavor and the meat was tender. I would return here to order soup, but as far as ordering Chinese take-out, I stil like Lee's over in Santa Theresa.
If you are craving good soup, go here. Their address is 542 Lakeside Drive, Sunnyvale CA 94085

Your blog has sooo many recipes, lots of inspiration for me! So where are you located? Somewhere in Silicon Valley I'm guessing?
Thanks,
Cassie
Simplylife, it was delicious, now I have to figure out how to make it so I don't have to drive far.
Cassie, I live in South San Jose. Feel free to ask me anything about blogging, I've been blogging for the past 7 months and enjoying every minute of it. There's still so much to learn and it's a lot of fun learning more and most importantly connecting with people who share the same passion.
